Gutierrez was born in Santiago de los Caballeros in Dominican Republic on December 10 the 10th of December, 1986[2The Dominican Republic is where she was born on December 10, 1986[2. This was where she began her musical career. Natasha was seven years old when she started her education at Santiago's School of Fine Arts. There she began singing and she has described it as one of her greatest memories. She was a fan of artists like Bob Marley, Jerry Rivera and, more specifically, Lauryn Hill. In the Bronx, she met reggaeton legend Don Omar who then signed the singer to his label. Natalia was also an engineer and was employed at a make-up manufacturing facility.
